About this room

Occupying the entire top floor of the original cliff house, the Basalt Penthouse is offered to a single party at a time, with its own elevator key and a dedicated team. The rooftop pool wraps two sides of the building; at night it's lit only by submerged brass lanterns and starlight. This is the room we photograph least — most who stay here ask us not to.
